Hiya...

looks like you can only upload an image by linking to an existing url on these comments...or you could email winstonsroost@gmail.com.

Sounds like you have it in hand, though?

An inline switch would be a quick, easy, solution. Finding another paddle switch bulb holder might be a bitch.

Don't know if you saw my post on how well my shade cleaned up with a lot of patience, very hot water and re-pleating...but I managed to get a good 60% + of the wrinkles out.

Good luck with it, and would love to see it when you're done! I am thinking of doing a post with all the finished projects people send me, as it is really fun watching everyone noodle away with success!

Well, it's just the paddle switch that needs replaced it is gone. The shade is pretty dinged up but I wanted to keep it all original. Upon taking the socket apart I realized that I can just turn the switch permanently on and then cut the cord and put a switch there. So I may just do that.

Here are some pics of the disassemble light

Hiya,

Wow! Nice find. I am green with envy.

Send me a pic and I can give you an idea of where to find bits. I get a lot of mine from Urban Cottage Industries (silk flex and bulb holders).

Mine was really simple to rewire...
